Our representative welcomes you at the Tokyo International Airport. You are then transferred to the hotel after the necessary check-in formalities. Your journey from Nepal is arranged under your guidance, and any flights except the scheduled ones are not included in this package.

Our team shall arrange travel arrangements, and accommodation booking, and ensure your visa processing for your arrival in Narita and transfer to Tokyo. Be it an e-ticket or an accessible flight itinerary, the Orchid Travel Nepal team helps you plan your Japan adventure, solo or with your family.

Prepare and submit the list of emergency contacts too; we might need it. Our team wants to make you aware of several things before making your Japan dream happen. On your behalf, we request that you get travel insurance to mitigate the risks of lost belongings and last-moment health emergencies in a foreign land.

02

Day 2 is going to be pretty busy. The first destination on your Japan tour is the Meiji Shrine in the jungles of Tokyo. After exploring the Shinto Shrine, you get to know the story of Emperor Meiji and its nearby attractions, Yoyogi Park.

Morning activities at Meiji Shrine

Meiji Shrine, or Meiji Jingu, is one of Japan's most famous and visited Shinto shrines since 1920. The specialty of this place that visitors like is that it has massive tori gates and cedar trees, decorated enormously in Tokyo New Year. More than 10 million visitors come here to see the most amazing hastumode, the New Year prayers.

If you ask, Meiji Shrine is a tribute to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken, who played a pivotal role in Japan’s modernization. History reflects on how the Emperor’s contribution led to a transition from a feudal society. To arrive at this iconic landmark, we take a bullet train ride from Harajuku Station.

There's a large incense burner (shōrō) where you can wave the smoke over yourself; it’s an amazing purification ritual.

Mid-day activities at Tokyo City Tour

It is the first day of exploring Tokyo and finding fun activities to do here. Today we are heading to the oldest neighborhood for shopping on Japan's Nakamise Street. The bustling lanes of the towns call us for a visit.

For the rest of the day, we explore some of the regions in Shibuya and Ginza, which are among two of Tokyo's most iconic districts. Our day itinerary continues in Tokyo with Shibuya Crossing, Hachiko Statue, known for its shopping and features, the nightlife, and more.

We also explore Ginza's history, which dates back to the Edo period. It was when the whole concept of luxury and refinement came into light in the era of silver mint. Ginza's main street, Nakamise Street Shopping (Chuo Dori), is lined with high-end boutiques, department stores, and flagship shops of luxury brands. Shopping here is an exclusive experience. Plus, if you are a stationery lover, you can shop at the Itoya Stationery Store.

Evening stroll and snacking on Tokyo

Explore the diverse range of traditional crafts, exquisite textiles, and captivating Kannon-themed items, including lucky amulets and talismans. We will visit the Tsukiji Outer Market to sample sushi, fresh seafood, and street food and have a new flavor profile added to your taste buds.

Taste the multi-cuisine fusion in Japan when the day just goes by. Asakusa temple and the iconic entrance at the Senso-ji temple. We help you learn about the cultural heritage site of Tokyo, besides its bustling charm. Enjoy food, drinks, and relaxation activities in Tokyo for the day, and get enough sleep too, which could have been hindered due to regular traveling.

We take you to explore the local neighborhood, quirky shops, and cafes you have never been to. After a shopping spree on Takeshita Street, you take a sigh of breath at Yoyogi Park and pay a visit to Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden.

03

On day 3, we planned a day trip to Shizuoka, where the wonders of Mt. Fuji await us. Our plan starts with visiting Lake Kawaguchi, one of the Fuji Five lakes. You explore neighborhood areas like Oishi Park, Oshino Hakkai, and Shiraito Waterfall.

Lake Kawaguchi is one of the Fuji Five Lakes. We reach there with different railways in Japan, sharply around 9 am to meet the strictly planned itinerary. But this comes with the liberty to enjoy the full swings of Mt. Fuji. On the northern shore of the lake, there is Oishi Park with beautiful flower gardens and panoramic views of Mt. Fuji.

Next, we leave for Oshino Hakkai, where we not only explore the territory but savor regional specialties like hōtō (a noodle soup) or fresh fish. After a relaxing lunch option in Oshino or nearby Kawaguchiko, we book a taxi to Shiraito Waterfall.

The photographic location just takes your breath away. Later in the afternoon, we will have our dinner with green tea and fresh seafood and spent the night here in Shizuoka only.

04

The Japan tour is about to come to an end. But before that, we wrap up with the wonderful tourist locations at Hakone, Yokohama, and Narita. We trace our way back to Narita, where we leave the next day; however, we make it slow with sightseeing options.

When we take the train from JR Tokaido Shinkansen, our first stop is Odawara Station; the next is Gora; and finally, Togendai Station, via a different railway. We take deliciously tasting black eggs (kuro tamago) cooked in the hot springs to lift the mood for the day. And even snack on vegetarian dishes before we rush to Lake Ashi, where the day takes a pause.

Upon arriving at Lake Ashi, we rent a scenic boat ride with views of Mount Fuji. After the cruise, we leave for Gotemba Premium Outlets, approximately 30 to 40 minutes by bus from Togendai. In the late afternoon, you transfer to the Narita Express and end your night with sightseeing at Naritasan Shinshoji Temple.

Before you leave, you can have a shopping experience at outlet malls with international and Japanese brands. You can also dine at upscale restaurants to make the most of the time. You can explore the iconic Yokohama Chinatown and more of Narita.

5

Begin your day in Hakone, where you’ll experience a cruise on Ashinoko Lake, a scenic lake formed by volcanic activity, framed by views of Mt. Fuji. Visit Owakudani Valley, known for its volcanic hot springs and the famous black eggs boiled in sulfuric water. Stop at Gotemba Premium Outlets for shopping and local souvenirs. Continue your journey to Yokohama, Japan’s port city, for sightseeing and cultural experiences before heading to Narita.

6

The time has come for you to depart for your home country via Narita Airport. Before the flight, you get to dine at a local restaurant in Narita or the airport. You can also have last-moment shopping at the duty-free airport and carry memories.
